“Have been a customer many years. Purchased furnace and recently air conditioning through Ricotta. Out of town I returned to find service needed to be done on A/C. I felt that some charges were questionable and called to express concern. Was met by a pleasant voice belonging to Nicki who listened and recorded concerns and indicated she would address them. A day later received call indicating that the owner had listened to her interpretation of the incident and agreed there should be a refund for some charges.

“Ricotta has, in the past 8 years, installed a furnace, air conditioner and a humidifier to our system. All of the work has been done in a very professional manner by knowledgable technicians. They have always arrived very close to when they were expected and the work was finished perfectly and on time as promised. The service that Ricotta has offered over the last 8 years has been very high quality at a reasonable price. I had a problem today, a Saturday, and the technician was at my home within 90 minutes of my call. The problem was resolved and my furnace was serviced. “Good Work, but ask costs up front. My AC works now, but costs are elusive until you get the bill. AC was low on Freon and tech said there was probably a leak. Asked if check for leak (which I thought was part of putting more Freon in) and he did, then informed that the check cost $300. In the end, no leak was found. The bill was $750.00 for putting in a couple pounds of Freon, although he did give $100 off when confronted on not telling the cost up front. Please note, tech was upfront on Freon costs, not the leak check.
So, just make sure to ask for ALL costs up front, and you will be fine with this company.”
